What to Expect When you are Visitng

Lord of Life is a friendly and welcoming congregation. When you visit us at either of our two locations, the Fairfax Campus or the Clifton Campus, the first people you meet will be greeters who will help you find Sunday School classes, the Worship Center, restrooms, nursery, or whatever else you need.

They will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and give you literature that describes any of our many programs and ministries that may be of interest to you.

You will be encouraged to put on a nametag- so we can greet each other by name. Ushers will then welcome you into the Worship Center and give you a printed bulletin and/or printed announcements, depending on the service you choose to attend.

During the service, Friendship Pads will be passed around for members and visitors to record their attendance. Please jot down your address and phone number. If you would like a pastor to call or have a prayer request, make note of that also.

Stay for coffee and conversation (between the services at the Fairfax Campus and after the service at the Clifton Campus). Be sure to ask about times for Bible studies during the week and opportunities for fellowship and service.

Know that we welcome you and look forward to the opportunity for getting to know you.

How to Join Lord of Life

Lord of Life is a friendly, welcoming place. We look forward to getting to know you, and welcome you to join us as a member of the congregation.

Three times a year we have a New Member Orientation for those who are interested in becoming members or simply learning more about our congregation.  Please be sure to write your contact information on the Friendship Pad  that is passed during the offering, and we will be sure to send you an invitation to our next orientation. We provide dinner and childcare for the event. It is a great opportunity to meet the pastors, staff and other newcomers, and to learn about our beliefs, ministries, and learning and fellowship opportunities.

If you have any questions, please call the church office or e-mail
adarke@lordoflifeva.org.
